MENTOR APPLICATION

Become a BOOST Entrepreneurship Mentor. 

The BOOST Mentor Programme is designed to fill in the gap in areas where expertise is desired for entrepreneurial ventures or startups, and to develop networks between colleagues.Using a 1:1 educational and experienced support approach, Boost mentors are paired with a mentee with whom to discuss their ventures opportunities and potentials in the current business environments.

Expectations

• Must have strong communication and listening skill and should act as a role model, adviser, critic, and consultant.

• Be able to dedicate at least 1-2 hours a week to meet with a mentee(s)

• Allow your mentee to drive the relationship, initiate meetings and set the agenda.

• Help the mentee develop important and necessary entrepreneurial skills.

• Support and challenge your mentee, giving them fair, considered feedback on their ventures.

• Help develop your mentees problem-solving skills and improve their self-confidence.

Eligibility

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a particular entrepreneurial skill or field

• Must have some varied leadership experience.

• Must be able to expose others to opportunities and increase visibility.

• Must commit to attending sessions booked by mentees.
